We have had the most amazing Sunday with our good friends in their Teepee on the Green. A perfect setting for an Asian BBQ Masterclass. With Victor Yu and our Chef Bruno Birkbeck taking to the coals with our Kasai Japanese Konro Grill.

This hands on class is a perfect day out for any food lover, and an amazing opportunity to cook alongside Bruno and Victor to learn inside hints, tips and trade secrets.

The Master class has a wide mix of skills and techniques, starting with cooking on our Kasai Japanese Grills, these Konro Grills originate in Japan and really are quite special. You will learn how to light your Konro Grill and use binchotan charcoal, which is a must for any kind of BBQ cooking and the secret to many professional chef’s bbq. Followed by cooking a number of different products, to really show you what the Kasai BBQ can do.

Chef Victor takes you through perfecting Asian Slaws which just feels like the perfect side for any BBQ. There is a section dedicated to marinades, which can really make your meat, fish and vegetables sing, taking your BBQ to the next level.

As you would expect there is plenty of opportunity for tasting, along with a two course lunch.

All finished off with a gift bag and the take home knowledge to recreate the dishes at home.
